You will have to walk up to six dogs on and off the lead and you will need to be able to walk long distances in all kinds of weather. You don't need experience but you need to have a genuine love and understanding for dogs. UK driving licence mandatory! (Car ansd van) This is NOT a job for someone that wants a hobby. We work around our clients needs and we offer a top-quality and reliable service. Dog walking is a fun and incredible job. However, you must have good problem-solving skills, be responsible and have excellent communication as well as customer service. You need to live locally or near the Chelsea or Battersea area. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for providing professional dog walking and pet sitting services for our clients across London. Dog walks involve collecting dogs on foot. Some dogs are exercised on lead, while others are walked off lead. Pet sitting assignments may include daytime visits, overnight stays and weekend bookings in clients' homes. As our services are based around our clients' schedules, applicants must be available Monday-Friday between 7am-2pm. Occasional evening, weekend and overnight pet sitting assignments may also be available. You must own or have access to a bike (personal or rental such as Forest), and be a confident cyclist, as you will be expected to cycle between each booking within the area. Your day will usually start around 7 am, collecting dogs from their homes across Hampstead and the surrounding areas. By around 8 am, you'll arrive at Hampstead Heath or Kenwood House for a 1–2 hour walk with up to 4 dogs. After the walk, you'll drop the dogs home, before collecting the next group and heading out for another walk. The morning will generally consist of pick-ups, walks, drop-offs, and caring for the dogs. You'll be outdoors and on your feet for much of the day, so you need to be comfortable with long walks in all weather.
