As a Reservations & Events Coordinator at Fallow, you will play a vital role in managing guest reservations and coordinating events from inquiry to execution. This dual-focused position ensures an exceptional guest experience through efficient reservations management and seamless event coordination. You will work closely with the Reservations & Events Manager and Head of Guest Operations to maximize bookings and deliver successful events that align with Fallow’s high standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage guest reservations across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness. - Recognize and prioritize VIP guests and regulars, maintaining updated profiles to enhance their experience. - Support, train, and mentor the reservations team to ensure all inquiries and bookings are handled efficiently. - Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to communicate guest preferences, special requests, and VIP bookings. - Manage events from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring all details are documented, communicated, and executed flawlessly. - Act as the main point of contact for event guests, coordinating site visits, contracts, and special requirements. - Liaise with external suppliers when applicable, ensuring all arrangements meet both guest expectations and restaurant standards. - Prepare and distribute detailed event summaries to the operations team for seamless execution. - Address and log guest complaints or feedback related to reservations or events, resolving issues promptly. - Maintain and update reservation and event management systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of data. - Promote and upsell special events and dining opportunities to maximize bookings and guest engagement. - Generate reports on reservation trends, event performance, and guest feedback for the Reservations Manager. About You: - Proven experience in a reservations or events coordination role within a high-end restaurant, hospitality, or events environment. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, guests, and internal teams. - A guest-focused approach, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering world-class service. - Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple reservations and events simultaneously. - Technical proficiency in reservation and event management systems (e.g., Seven Rooms or similar platforms). - Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to last-minute changes.
