Duties and Responsibilities:
Skill/experience/qualifications:
- Oversee daily operations of the takeaway and delivery service, including staffing, scheduling and inventory management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for team members.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the takeaway and delivery service.
- Ensure that all food products meet the food’s quality standards and specifications.
- Manage online ordering platforms and ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Manage financial aspects of the takeaway and delivery service, including budgeting, sales, expenses, and profitability, forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer complaints.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Motivate and lead a team of staff to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and monitor driver performance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food, beverages and supplies.
Skill/experience/qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Familiarity with online ordering platforms and delivery management systems
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to food service
- Experience with inventory management and financial reporting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and an understanding of current food trends
