Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in running a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining top-quality standards. You’ll have the chance to work across a variety of menus, including:

  • Traditional pub classics
  • Seasonal and festive menus
  • Event menus for parties, corporate bookings, and celebrations
  • Sit-down menus for larger groups and special occasions
  • A new Indian menu (experience with Indian cuisine is a major bonus)

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Cook and present dishes to a high standard across all menus
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and specials
  • Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Train junior staff and promote a positive kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in a busy kitchen environment
  • Passion for great food and high standards
  • Ability to adapt across multiple menu styles
  • Experience with Indian cuisine is advantageous but not essential
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment
