We are looking for a reliable, professional, and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, visitors, and company property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorised access.
- Control access to the site and verify visitors, staff, and contractors where required.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitors, and daily activities.
- Carry out regular security checks and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Liaise with emergency services and management when necessary.
- Provide a professional and helpful presence while maintaining high security standards.
- Follow all company security procedures, policies, and health & safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Security Guard Licence.
- Previous security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
