Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of the store, lead staff effectively, and help drive sales performance while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Appoint staff, allocate duties, and monitor team performance.
- Prepare and oversee staff schedules to meet sales and productivity targets.
- Balance cash register receipts and arrange bank deposits.
- Monitor competitor activity and respond to market challenges.
- Manage stock rotation and control surplus stock.
- Analyse sales and business records to identify growth opportunities.
- Plan in-store promotions and special events.
- Liaise with staff to ensure customers are informed about products and promotions.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and stock control is efficient.
- Handle customer complaints and service queries professionally.
- Oversee financial records and security arrangements for the premises.
- Authorise payments for supplies and assist in pricing decisions.
- Check product quality and maximise advertising and display opportunities.
Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer service abilities.
- Ability to sell products and services effectively.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Good business management awareness.
