In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products before they are shipped to customers, performing quality checks on prescription eyewear, cleaning, and packing non-prescription items. You will also support the team during busy periods by ensuring orders are efficiently packed and shipped on time. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality control checks on eyewear fitted with prescription lenses, ensuring that all products meet our high standards before shipping. Inspect for defects such as scratches, misalignments, or incorrect lens prescriptions. Clean eyewear to ensure it arrives in pristine condition to the customer. Pack and prepare non-prescription eyewear and accessories for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a smooth workflow. Collaborate with the fulfilment team and assist with various tasks during peak periods. Ensure all products are packed securely and labeled correctly for shipment. Help maintain stock accuracy by keeping track of packaging materials and supplies. Contribute to a positive team environment, bringing a friendly and proactive attitude to work every day. Key Qualifications: Attention to detail is essential, as quality control is a critical aspect of this role. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a friendly, supportive environment. Previous experience in a fulfilment, warehouse, or quality control role is desirable, but not essential. We are willing to consider candidates who show potential and have a strong work ethic. Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines, especially during busy periods. A punctual and reliable person will be required to work part time in our warehouse. The working hours and days could be flexible. The duties will be sorting out the stock, deliveries and orders, maintaining the shelves organised and cleaned. Helping with packaging and deliveries.
