Planner Location: Greenford (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite) Contract: Permanent (6-month FTC may be considered) Experience: 2–5 years Salary: Competitive Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior Planner to join their team in Greenford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, logistics, or planning operations to take ownership of key planning activities that keep our engineering and production schedules running smoothly. They employ over 2,300 people and has a long heritage—over 80 years—of delivering undersea systems, continually innovating to meet evolving naval threats Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the Product Testing Schedule . Gather testing and planning requirements from Project Managers . Book and coordinate availability of engineers . Arrange and request transport for equipment and materials. Act as the single point of contact for external suppliers involved in testing activities. Liaise closely with Production teams to confirm product readiness and resolve issues. Adapt to frequent changes in schedule and priorities within a fast-paced environment. Skills & Experience 2–5 years' experience in manufacturing, logistics, or planning operations roles or Simarlar. Medium Excel capability – comfortable updating spreadsheets, using basic formulas, and maintaining formatting. Strong people skills – confident communicating with Project Managers, Logistics, Production, Engineers, and external stakeholders. Excellent organisational abilities with a structured approach to managing multiple moving parts. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment . *Ability to obtain security clearance is a must have Why Join ?
