Core Skills for the JavaScript Contractor, Backend TypeScript, Node + AWS | Disruptive Start-up, B2C | Rate £550-675 Outside IR35 | 6-months | London, Hybrid or UK remote • You’re an experienced backend engineer with a track record of delivering production-ready systems., • You’re fluent in at least one modern programming language such as TypeScript, Python, C#, Java, or Go., • You’re comfortable working with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or similar)., • You’ve worked extensively with both relational and NoSQL databases., • You treat automated testing as a non-negotiable part of development., • You know your way around RESTful APIs, microservices, and Docker-based deployments., • You understand how to make systems fast, reliable, and scalable and you have the strategies to do it., • You have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation., • You can untangle complex problems and explain your solutions clearly to technical and non-technical teammates., • You thrive in agile, fast-moving environments and enjoy contributing beyond your core role.
