You will manage schedules, arrange assignments, and communicate progress to all team members.\n\nIn this role, you will report directly to the Projects Co-ordinator and work closely with a team of Project Managers, so strong communication, workload management, and collaboration skills are essential.\n\nThe position involves managing, costing, and where applicable procuring materials and subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also proactively support the operational delivery team, including updating and renewing accreditations, booking training, monitoring the training matrix, and supporting wider administrative functions.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nManage scheduling processes to maximise operational team performance\n\nEnsure scheduling supports exceptional contract delivery\n\nEnsure prompt resolution of queries\n\nPromote and develop best practice\n\nAct as a point of contact for operatives, clients, and customers\n\nProvide two quotes per request to ensure effective job pricing\n\nSource materials for engineers, ensuring delivery or collection near job locations\n\nRaise purchase orders for all materials and equipment\n\nChase suppliers and resolve issues within 48 hours\n\nManage subcontractor and supplier database\n\nIdentify new suppliers when required\n\nRaise and manage supplier invoice queries with accounts\n\nProvide onboarding packs for new subcontractors and ensure compliance documentation is complete\n\nNotify line manager of potential employee issues\n\nProvide performance reports as required\n\nEnsure compliance with health & safety and company policies\n\nInput financial data into IT systems\n\nManage operational administration processes\n\nSupport operational teams to ensure contract compliance\n\nProcess and share information to progress work\n\nMaintain correspondence, telephone, and email protocols\n\nManage contract paperwork and maintain accurate records\n\nCreate and update workflows\n\nPrepare documentation for internal teams and stakeholders\n\nOrder resources such as equipment and software\n\nSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED\n\n * Experience as an Administrator, or within Purchasing/Procurement, or similar role\n\n * Hands-on experience with technical documentation and scheduling\n\n * Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)\n\n * Strong organisational and time-management skills\n\n * Knowledge of materials and methods used in the construction industry\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\n\n * NVQ Level 2–3 in Business Administration\n\n * Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills\n\n * Industry-based experience may also be considered\n\nABOUT YOU\n\n * Punctual and reliable\n\n * Previous office-based experience\n\n * Strong organisational skills\n\n * Clear communicator\n\n * Team player
