About the Role Caffè Concerto is looking for a confident, commercially minded and customer-focused Cake Studio Telesales Executive. This is not simply a call-answering role. You will be responsible for turning customer enquiries into sales, understanding cake requirements, advising customers on the right product and price, and working closely with our chefs and cake production team to make sure orders are clear, achievable and profitable. Our range includes standard cakes, customised cakes, novelty cakes, bespoke cakes and wedding cakes. You will need to understand the difference between these requests, recognise when a cake requires additional chef input and communicate the customer's requirements accurately. Key Responsibilities Cake Sales * Handle telephone and online cake enquiries professionally. * Understand the customer's occasion, requirements, portions, design, deadline and budget. * Recommend the most suitable cake and explain pricing confidently. * Understand cake complexity and work with the chef when a quotation requires additional input. * Convert enquiries into confirmed sales. * Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion. * Upsell and cross-sell suitable products such as candles, slices, decorations, celebration products and canapés. * Identify opportunities for repeat sales around birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions. Customer Service & Complaints * Handle customer complaints calmly, professionally and patiently. * Deal confidently with frustrated or aggressive customers without becoming confrontational. * Investigate problems before offering solutions. * Take ownership of customer issues and escalate appropriately when required. * When a cake or order mistake occurs, focus on finding a solution and turning a negative experience into an opportunity to recover the customer's trust and retain their business. * Record recurring complaints and customer feedback to help improve the operation. * Maintain professional boundaries when dealing with abusive behaviour. Teamwork Strong relationships with the cake studio team are essential. * Build and maintain a good working relationship with chefs, cake designers and production staff. * Communicate customer requirements clearly and accurately. * Respect the chef's technical knowledge while representing the customer's needs. * Work collaboratively when solving difficult or last-minute customer requests. * Avoid creating unnecessary conflict between customers, sales and production. * Understand that successful cake sales depend on good cooperation between the sales and kitchen teams. Additional Sales & Reservations The role may also include: * Taking table reservations for Caffè Concerto shops. * Handling general customer enquiries. * Selling additional restaurant and celebration products. * Identifying opportunities to increase the value of each customer interaction. Administration & Reporting * Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order records. * Track enquiries, sales, follow-ups and lost opportunities. * Prepare basic sales reports. * Monitor conversion rates and average order value. * Provide management with useful customer feedback and sales information. What We Are Looking For * Experience in telesales, telephone sales, hospitality sales, reservations or a similar customer-facing role. * Excellent communication and listening skills. * Strong sales, upselling and negotiation ability. * Confidence discussing prices and customer budgets. * Good numerical skills and an understanding of portions and pricing. * Excellent attention to detail. * Patient and calm under pressure. * Confident handling complaints and difficult customers. * Commercially aware and focused on both sales and profitability. * Able to build strong relationships with chefs and operational teams. * Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously. * Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and sales/order systems. Cake, bakery, patisserie, hospitality, wedding/event or bespoke product sales experience is an advantage. The Right Person We need someone who can take a customer from: “I need a cake” → understand what they actually want → recommend the right solution → establish the budget → price it correctly → close the sale → communicate it clearly to the chef → follow up → create the next sales opportunity. The successful candidate should be a salesperson, problem-solver and relationship builder, not simply someone who answers the telephone. You will be measured on sales conversion, average order value, upselling, follow-up, customer service, order accuracy and teamwork.

    South Tottenham, London

Lands Partners is a London property company — we buy, refurbish and manage residential property across the city. Our construction team is growing, and we're looking for a Site Manager to be our eyes and ears on the ground. This is a role for someone who notices things. You'll be out on the road most days, moving between our sites across London — checking progress, photographing work, writing up what you find and dealing with the builders face to face. If something is going wrong, we want to hear it from you before it becomes a problem. Office Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–5:30pm. Friday, 9:30am–2:00pm. While the Office Hours are set, due to the nature of this position you might be required to have flexible start or end times. Office: Anna House, 214–218 High Road, South Tottenham, N15 4NP — though you'll spend most of your time out on site, not at a desk. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Visiting our sites across London to inspect ongoing construction and refurbishment work, • Photographing and documenting progress and issues on our company app (full training given), • Writing up site reports after each visit, • Speaking to builders and contractors on site — checking work is being done properly, and chasing what isn't, • Talking to neighbours and dealing with anything that comes up around our properties, • Spotting problems early and following them through until they're fixed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR This matters to us more than a CV: • You spot things. You walk onto a site and notice what isn't right., • You take action on your own. Nobody will be standing over you. You're out on the road alone most of the day, and we need to know things get done., • You're reliable. If you say you'll be somewhere, you're there., • You can talk to anyone. Builders, neighbours, tenants, council offices, building control inspectors — and stay calm and professional when the conversation is a difficult one., • You're comfortable using a smartphone app for photos and reports. It's simple, but it's a daily part of the job. ESSENTIAL • Full UK driving licence, • Right to work in the UK, • Flexibility — the nature of the work means hours can move around, and we need someone who can work with that, • Experience in construction, property or maintenance is a real advantage, but attitude matters more. If you've got the right eye and the right work ethic, we'll train you on the rest. WHAT WE OFFER • Company car provided, • Permanent employed position (PAYE) — not self-employed, • Early finish every Friday at 2pm, • A varied job — you're not sat at a desk, and no two days look the same, • A growing company where the problems you flag actually get acted on

Self-Employed Sales Executive – Steel Buildings About South West Steel Buildings South West Steel Buildings Ltd is a growing supplier of British-manufactured steel buildings, providing solutions for the agricultural, commercial and industrial sectors. We supply buildings ranging from agricultural storage buildings and workshops through to industrial units and larger commercial projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Self-Employed Sales Executive to generate new business and develop their own customer base. This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary. Commission is uncapped and directly linked to sales generated. Important – Self-Employed Position This is a self-employed, commission-only sales opportunity. There is no basic salary or guaranteed level of earnings. The successful applicant will operate on a self-employed basis and will be responsible for their own tax, National Insurance and other obligations associated with self-employment. Construction Project Manager – Domestic Building Projects £40,000–£130,000 depending on experience and performance + uncapped project commission We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take ownership of domestic building projects from initial site visit through to successful completion. Our projects include: • Home extensions, • Loft conversions, • Full and partial property renovations, • Internal remodelling and refurbishment Typical contract values range from £40,000 to £250,000, with an average project value of approximately £70,000. This role is designed for someone who wants the independence and earning potential of running projects without having to worry about finding customers, generating leads, running sales calls, issuing contracts, chasing invoices or managing back-office administration. We find the work and run the back office. You deliver the projects. How the role works The company generates enquiries and works with homeowners to understand their plans, budget and project requirements. Once we identify a promising opportunity, you will: 1. Visit the property and meet the client in person., 2. Discuss the proposed work in detail., 3. Assess the site and identify potential risks or challenges., 4. Scope the work and prepare an accurate, commercially viable quotation., 5. Support our internal team with any technical questions required to close the project. Our internal team then takes over the sales process, follows up with the customer, issues contracts and closes the project. Once the project is secured, you take responsibility for delivering it from start to finish. Focus on delivery, not administration We take care of the back office, including: • Lead generation, • Initial customer qualification, • Sales calls and follow-up, • Customer contracts, • Billing, • Invoicing, • Payment collection, • General administration You are not expected to spend your time finding work, chasing paperwork, issuing contracts or collecting money. Your focus is on: • Meeting clients, • Understanding and pricing projects, • Planning the work, • Organising contractors and trades, • Managing day-to-day project delivery, • Controlling costs and programme, • Maintaining a strong relationship with the client, • Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard You look after the contractors, the client and the project. We look after everything around it. Your responsibilities You will be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects, including: • Visiting prospective projects and meeting homeowners, • Understanding the client's requirements, • Accurately scoping and pricing work, • Preparing project budgets and quotations, • Planning the works and creating realistic programmes, • Organising labour, subcontractors, trades and materials, • Ensuring the right contractors are on site at the right time, • Managing and supervising contractors, • Monitoring the quality of work, • Managing project costs, budgets and margins, • Monitoring progress against programme, • Identifying and resolving issues quickly, • Managing variations and changes to scope, • Keeping clients informed throughout the project, • Maintaining a positive client relationship, • Ensuring sites are organised, safe and professionally managed, • Managing snagging and project completion, • Delivering an outcome the client is genuinely happy with You will have considerable freedom over how you organise and deliver your projects. You will not be micromanaged. We care about the outcome: quality, happy clients, projects delivered efficiently and strong commercial performance. What is in it for you? £40,000–£130,000 + uncapped commission Salary will range from £40,000 to £130,000, depending on experience, capability and performance. On top of this, you will receive uncapped commission linked directly to the profit generated by the projects you manage. There is no ceiling on commission. The more work you successfully manage, and the more efficiently and profitably you deliver it, the more you can earn. No need to find your own work One of the biggest challenges of running a construction business is keeping the pipeline full. We take that problem away. Our team generates the enquiries, qualifies customers and runs the sales process. We can generate as much work as you are capable of successfully delivering. Whether you want to manage £60,000 or £6 million of construction work, we want the limiting factor to be your ability to deliver rather than our ability to find projects. No back-office burden Contracts, billing, invoicing, payment collection, sales and administration are handled internally. That allows you to spend your time where you add the most value: on site, with contractors and with clients. Be your own boss The role is largely self-directed. You will have significant freedom over how you organise your time, manage your contractors and deliver your projects. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility rather than someone who needs constant supervision. How the numbers work Our average project is approximately £70,000. A well-run project should achieve at least a 20% profit margin, with 30% or more achievable on strong projects. That means a £70,000 project could generate: 20% Margin30% Margin Contract value £70,000 £70,000 Project profit £14,000 £21,000 Your commission is linked to the profit generated by the projects you manage. A project of this size should take no more than six weeks when properly planned, resourced and managed. There is also no reason an experienced and organised Project Manager cannot oversee multiple projects at the same time. That is where the earning potential becomes significant. Run more projects. Maintain strong margins. Deliver excellent work. Earn more commission. There is no commission cap. By the numbers • Project values: £40,000–£250,000, • Average project: approximately £70,000, • Target minimum project margin: 20%, • Strong projects can achieve approximately 30%+, • Typical £70k project duration: no more than six weeks, • Average conversion following a qualified site visit: approximately 20%, • Approximately five suitable site visits generate one secured project, • Salary: £40,000–£130,000, • Uncapped project commission, • Commission directly linked to project profitability, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • As much work available as you are capable of successfully delivering Who we are looking for This role would suit an experienced: • Construction Project Manager, • Contracts Manager, • Construction Manager, • Site Manager, • Residential Project Manager, • General Builder looking to move into project management You should understand both the practical and commercial sides of domestic construction.
