Domestic Loss Adjuster – Sheffield/Lincoln/Doncaster Sheffield/Lincoln/Doncaster Permanent Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications As a Domestic Loss Adjuster you will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across the Sheffield/Lincoln/Doncaster area. Your day to day responsibilities include visiting customers at their homes, coordinating visits from contractors, settling each claim and compiling comprehensive reports. You will balance office and home work as needed. • UK Driving Licence: Essential to travel by car., • Insurance knowledge: Understanding of how a home insurance policy operates and basic makeup of a domestic property., • Excellent communication skills: Speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more, explaining complex details clearly and negotiating fair settlements., • Problem‑solving abilities: Identify and solve problems efficiently., • Time management: Plan your own week, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and handle multiple claims simultaneously., • Experience with Apple software such as iPads or other tablets., • Comprehensive training to excel in the role., • Professional development towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.
