You’re part of something bigger here.”— Sarah, Support Worker at Lifeways Your Role as a Support Worker As a Night Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the people we support during overnight hours. Your responsibilities will include: • Monitoring and responding to individual needs throughout the night, • Supporting with personal care routines, where required, • Ensuring a calm and safe environment for restful sleep, • Recording and reporting any changes in health or behaviour, • Promoting independence and dignity in every interaction, • Supporting with morning routines and preparing for the day ahead, • Responding to emergencies and following established protocols About the Service This service supports individuals with a diverse range of needs including mental health, autism, and learning difficulties.
