Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in the workshop in Bellimgham, London and with remote working at customers sites as and when needed, Fabricating, installation, and finishing of worktops and stone projects. Daily tasks include handling, cutting, polishing, and fitting stone materials, maintaining workspaces, loading and unloading tools and equipment, and collaborating with the team to deliver projects efficiently and safely. We are currently looking for a general labourer and trainee worktop fitter and stone mason. No experience is required as full training will be given. Ideal candidates must • have a full and valid UK driving licence (over 25 years old, due to insurance purposes), • be able to lift heavy items on a daily basis, • be hardworking, reliable and committed, • be willing to learn and take instruction, • have a positive 'can do' attitude. You will be working in the workshop in SE6 and also on site working within a small team. The working hours are 7am-4pm / 7.30am - 4.30pm Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate: London SE6 3BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: Workshop & Hybrid remote in London SE6

What You’ll Do • Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks: plumbing, plastering, decorating, tiling, basic electrics, and more., • Inspect properties regularly, identifying and resolving issues quickly., • Prepare vacant (void) properties so they’re move-in ready for new tenants., • Respond to emergency repairs as part of an on-call rota (evenings/weekends)., • Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is needed, ensuring quality., • Support colleagues in maintaining communal and shared spaces., • Record all work digitally using a smartphone/tablet and CRM system., • At least 3 years’ experience in general maintenance or multi-trade roles (experience in social housing or HMOs is ideal)., • Broad trade skills across plumbing, plastering, decorating, tiling, carpentry, and electrics. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: They will mainly be responsible for the following tasks- • Interpret drawings and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts, • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, pipes, valves, and fixtures, • Measure, cut, and prepare pipe work using appropriate hand and power tools, • Join and secure pipes by welding, soldering, fusing, cementing, or screwing, • Test installations for leaks and faults and carry out necessary adjustments, • Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, including burst pipes and defective components, • Carry out routine maintenance to prevent system failures, • Calculate material requirements and maintain accurate records of work completed Skills, experience and qualification required for the role. The successful candidate should demonstrate the following: • A high level of attention to detail and technical accuracy, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Strong organisational and time-management skills, • Manual dexterity and confidence using plumbing-specific hand and power tools, • Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to feedback, • Good communication and interpersonal skills A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar plumbing role is desirable.
