Here, you can achieve more in your career while proudly contributing to Britain’s future heritage. \n\nThe Role: Commercial Manager - Project Controls\n\n As our ideal candidate, you will: \n\n\n • \nBe a recognized Commercial Manager with strong commercial awareness focused on profit and cash.\n, • \nHave prior experience with CM or PM projects, particularly with NEC contracts.\n, • \nManage a range of commercial aspects, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and subcontract works packages through to final account.\n, • \nNegotiate and agree on compensation events with clients while maintaining strong relationships.\n, • \nResolve issues related to payment and disallowed costs.\n, • \nDeputize for the Project Commercial Director as needed.\n, • \nMinimize risk and cost while maximizing value through cost checking and analysis of labor, plant, and materials.\n, • A proven track record in commercial management for major construction projects.\n, • Strong client-facing experience, with outstanding negotiation and communication skills.\n, • An expert understanding of contract law, procurement, and financial management.\n, • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide commercial insights.\n, • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.\n, • Performance-related progression opportunities.\n
