These roles are ideal for individuals with experience working with children or vulnerable adults who are passionate about supporting learning and development within a school environment. The role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the school, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Working alongside the class teacher and wider support staff, you will assist with lessons, deliver small-group interventions and provide 1:1 support where required. Schools are looking for calm, reliable and proactive individuals who are committed to helping children thrive academically and emotionally. Responsibilities Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Assisting the class teacher with lessons, routines and classroom activities Delivering small-group interventions and targeted support Providing 1:1 guidance for pupils who require additional help Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion Helping pupils stay focused, motivated and confident Contributing to a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environmentAbout the schools Supportive and friendly staff teams Strong focus on pupil well-being and positive relationships Well-resourced classrooms and modern learning spaces Easily accessible from Heswall, West Kirby, Bebington and surrounding Wirral areasThe ideal candidate Experience working with children or vulnerable adults (essential) Patient, confident and able to build strong relationships Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to education Understanding of safeguarding and school policiesSafeguarding Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
