Job Description:Senior Site Engineer– Diaphragm Wall, Soil Mixing and Deep FundationLocation: East Anglia, UKSalary: £100,000 – £150,000 per year (negotiable) + Package and BenefitsOverviewOur client, a leading specialist contractor in complex diaphragm wall and deep foundation works, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer– Diaphragm Wall, Soil Mixing and Deep Fundation to join a major UK infrastructure programme based in East Anglia.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role on one of the country's largest and most challenging civil engineering projects, delivering technically complex geotechnical packages within a high-profile environment.Job DescriptionReporting to the Project Director, you will take full ownership of diaphragm wall operations from mobilisation through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.You will lead multidisciplinary teams, including construction managers, engineers, subcontractors, and temporary works specialists, driving performance across technical, commercial, and operational delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryLead the end-to-end delivery of diaphragm wall worksPlan, coordinate, and execute construction activities from mobilisation through to completionOversee construction methodologies, sequencing, and execution strategiesOperations & PerformanceEnsure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and design requirementsMonitor progress, productivity, and performance against key milestonesDrive resolution of technical and construction challengesTeam & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineering teams, and suppliersProvide clear leadership, direction, and support to delivery teamsMaintain strong relationships with client representatives and stakeholdersHealth, Safety & QualityPromote and lead a strong safety-first culture across site operationsEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standardsOversee implementation of RAMS, ITPs, and quality assurance processesCommercial & Programme ControlManage programme delivery and ensure alignment with project milestonesMonitor cost performance, productivity, and commercial outcomesMaintain strong oversight of subcontractor performance and outputsRequirementsEssentialDegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related fieldProven experience delivering diaphragm wall and deep foundation worksStrong track record in a Senior Site Engineer– Diaphragm Wall, Soil Mixing and Deep Fundation within heavy civil engineeringExperience managing subcontractors, plant, and complex site operationsIn-depth knowledge of diaphragm wall construction methodologiesStrong understanding of temporary works, sequencing, and delivery planningExcellent commercial awareness and programme management skillsDesirableExperience on major infrastructure projects (rail, highways, tunnelling, marine)Personal AttributesStrong leadership and decision-making capabilitiesHighly organised and delivery-focusedExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to perform in high-pressure project environmentsCollaborative mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and performanceSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary of £100,000 – £150,000 per year (negotiable)Benefits and Packages availableOpportunity to work on a flagship UK infrastructure projectPlease apply directly or send your CV toOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
