We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers for ongoing assignments covering London and Yorkshire surrounding areas.
Due to the nature of the role you must be compassionate and patient.
A DBS on the update service and mandatory training would be advantageous.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months care/support work experience.
The ability to be flexible is essential as shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleep ins.
Certifications : Non Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention (NAPPI), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mandatory Training Certificate. Responsibilities include:
Supporting clients within supported living and residential accommodations. Can include going out in the community. Promote independent living and meal prepping.
Providing support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Following care plans and providing appropriate support to meet individual needs
Administering medication according to prescribed instructions
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
Supporting individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
