Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Balers & Compacters) Location: Bedfordshire (Accepting Applicants from surrounding counties) Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £42,000-£60,000pa) To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below. Hours: Monday-Friday + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x Job Type: Full time, Permanent The client: Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovate organisation based in the Suffolk area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector. The package: • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays + 1 additional day per year / up to 25 days + Bank, • Laptop, Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Company Credit Card, • Company Pension Scheme, • Training & Development within industry, • Occasional overnight stays (Paid subsidiaries, food & drink allowance), • Overtime paid before 08.00 @ 1.5x hourly rate, 1.5x hourly after 16.30, Optional Weekend Work First four hours on Saturday , 2x for every hour after. Sundays & Public holidays are paid at 2x hourly rate, • Operate in a 1.5 hour radius of your location with door to door paid · To attend breakdowns, service and PPM's on an array of industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry. · The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns) · To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems. · To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner. · Update job reports and order parts when necessary. · Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed The Requirements: • Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous., • Any previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding 0 Advantageous but not essential, • A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer., • Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
