An established and growing logistics business is seeking a highly organised Fleet Administrator to join its busy transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within fleet, transport or logistics operations. \n Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of a large fleet operation, ensuring vehicle records, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules are accurately maintained and up to date. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Maintain accurate records for company vehicles, trailers and fleet assets.\n, • Monitor MOTs, servicing schedules, inspections, tax and insurance requirements.\n, • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external suppliers.\n, • Process purchase orders, invoices and fleet-related expenditure.\n, • Maintain records of vehicle defects, repairs and maintenance history.\n, • Support driver licence checks and fleet compliance administration.\n, • Ensure all compliance documentation is maintained in line with regulatory requirements.\n, • Investigate and assist with vehicle damage, incidents and insurance claims.\n, • Update fleet management systems and transport databases.\n, • Respond to fleet-related enquiries via telephone and email.\n, • Provide general administrative support to the wider transport operation.\n\n About You \n\n • Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics, fleet or a similar operational environment.\n, • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.\n, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\n, • High attention to detail and accuracy.\n, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n, • Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively under pressure.\n, • A team player with a flexible and professional approach.\n\n Desirable Experience \n\n • Fleet or transport administration experience.\n, • Knowledge of Operator Licence compliance requirements.\n, • Understanding of vehicle maintenance processes.\n, • Experience using transport or fleet management systems.\n, • Exposure to logistics, haulage or distribution operations.\n\n \n Full time \n Permanent / On-site \n Monday - Friday \n This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering a varied and busy role where you can make a real impact on the smooth running of fleet operations.
