Assistant Restaurant Manager opportunity, role is based in Brighton. Benefits / Contract Terms ● Salary - £24K ● Permanent Role ● 40 hour working week, over 7 days ● Pension and Private Healthcare ● Access to onsite facilities including the gym ● 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays ● Meals on duty The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in collaboration with our Restaurant Manager to lead the team to success, you are also responsible for managing the restaurant when the Restaurant Manager is not around. You are a brand ambassador who plays a key part in ensuring each team member feels positive and each customer leaves feeling happy. You help drive results, increase profitability of the restaurant and support the team by getting stuck in with food preparation, restaurant cleanliness and meeting our customer’s expectations. Brief: Kosher restaurant Sun to Thu - all day service (morning from 8am the earliest - evening till 11pm the latest) Fri - morning only - till 3pm/4pm - only cold dishes (no electricity can be used on Fri/Sat as per Kosher rules) Parking available on site No service charge yet, company is looking at introducing it later Restaurant will seat approx. 240 people First interview on Teams (30min) - second in person They serve comfort food / pub food / they also have sushi section Essential: ● Right to work in the UK ● At least 2 years experience working Front of House in a restaurant ● Strong leadership skills ● Enthusiastic, motivational, someone who strives for excellence ● Flexible approach with a “can do” attitude ● Be highly organised and have great communication skills ● Strive for excellent customer service ● Be a supportive and thoughtful team player
