We are looking for a Lighting Design Engineer to join our client’s tea, responsible for creating and providing a high standard of lighting designs and specifications to meet our customer’s requirements. \n As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: \n\n • Design and co-ordinate lighting projects from start to finish, using information provided to create a finished presentation for the customer\n, • Liaise with the client and other internal departments to discuss ideas, concepts and alternative solutions where required\n, • Involved in the creating and designing of well-constructed plans, ensuring building regulations are met whilst providing a high level of knowledge and service to the customer\n, • Prepare detailed plans for both internal and external lighting requirements using Relux & Dialux\n, • Work as a team to discuss and implement ideas on projects\n, • Brief and liaise with the Lighting Design Manager, Technical Director and other departments to ensure projects meet the building regulations and compliance\n\n The ideal candidate will be: \n\n • A minimum of 2 years working within a Lighting Design Engineer role\n, • LIA qualification\n, • Experience using lighting design software such as Relux, Dialux and AutoCAD\n, • Demonstrate a good understanding of lighting fundamentals & specifications\n, • Organisational and numerical skills to manage projects & budgets\n, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, with close attention to detail\n, • Advanced LIA certificate is desirable but not essential\nBenefits\n\n, • Competitive salary & Company pension\n, • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays per year, with an additional day for each year of service, up to 28 days’\n, • Free on-site gym, with a free weekly gym class led by a Personal Trainer\n, • Annual flu vaccinations available\n, • Annual Profit Share Scheme\n, • Health Shield scheme after completion of probation\n, • Cycle to work scheme after completion of probation\n, • Salary sacrifice Electric Car Scheme after 12 months service\n, • Free Fruit\n, • Free milk\n, • Annual events, such as Family Fun Day and Christmas Party\n, • Bi-annual Team building events and allowance with your department\n, • Employee of the Month scheme\n
