We are recruiting for HGV YardDrivers at our Glasgow Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. • Contract - Full Time / Permanent, • Location - Glasgow Depot (G32 8EY) - role will be yard based, • Shift Pattern - 5 out 7 - 6pm - 4am (Monday - Friday or Tuesday-Saturday), • Hourly Rate - £17.30per hour, plus £20 per week shunter supplement Overtime (hours worked over contracted) - £19.46per hour Saturday - £21.92per hour Sunday - £28.42per hour Class 1 YardDriver Role & Responsibilities • Coordinate the onsite bay movements ensuring that all equipment is fully compliant, • Puts safety first and respects all other road users., • Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly., • Conduct regular checks on all vehicles and trailers to ensure they meet the necessary safety and compliance standards. If a vehicle or trailer is not compliant defect to the workshop for repairs or maintenance., • Prioritise, assess, and control safety, health, and workplace risks. This is a great opportunity for HGV Mechanic looking to work for a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern well maintained fleet of vehicles. The purpose of this role is to Repair and Maintain our HGV Fleet to comply with legal and company standards. Candidates will be responsible for actively seeking solutions to challenges and for embracing a safe and efficient operating approach to their work.
