About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Trailer Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working independently and managing their own workload. This is a workshop-based role offering stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work autonomously with responsibility for your own jobs. Key Responsibilities • Carry out trailer servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance, • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and braking system faults, • Complete MOT preparation work and carry out any required rectification repairs, • Inspect trailers and identify faults, defects, and required repairs, • Maintain and repair components including brakes, suspension, lighting systems, and running gear, • Complete jobs independently from start to finish, • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales, • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, • Follow all health and safety procedures within the workshop environment Requirements • Previous experience working as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, or similar role, • Strong knowledge of trailer systems, servicing, and repairs, • Experience with MOT preparation is essential, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, • Full UK driving licence preferred Package & Benefits • Competitive pay of up to £20 per hour depending on experience, • Company van provided, • Full-time permanent opportunity, • 45–50 hours per week, • Workshop-based position, • Independent working environment with responsibility for your own workload, • Stable role with long-term career potential If you are an experienced Trailer Technician looking for a role where you can work independently while being part of a supportive team, we would like to hear from you
