We are looking for an experienced, values-led Home Manager to lead Gable Court and build on its position as a safe, high-quality home for residents and a great place to work for staff. As Home Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, operational performance and quality of care at Gable Court, acting as the home's CQC Registered Manager. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, manage the home's budget and resources, and be the driving force behind a culture of safe, compassionate, person-centred care — working closely with residents, families, commissioners and the wider Serencroft leadership team. • Act as the home's CQC Registered Manager, holding responsibility for regulatory compliance and statutory notifications, • Lead, motivate and develop the home's staff team, including recruitment, supervision, appraisal and performance management, • Ensure compliance with CQC fundamental standards and all relevant health and social care legislation, • Drive continuous improvement in care quality and safety, working towards and maintaining strong CQC ratings, • Manage the home's budget, occupancy and resources effectively, • Oversee care planning, risk assessment and safeguarding practices across the home, • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, NHS commissioners, local authorities and other stakeholders, • Lead on internal audits, external inspections and quality assurance processes, • Champion Serencroft's values and B Corp commitments in the day-to-day running of the home, • Report regularly to the senior leadership team on performance, quality and compliance, • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated care or nursing home — essential, • NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards equivalent qualification), • Track record of leading a care home to strong CQC outcomes, • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding practices and relevant health and social care legislation, • Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills, • Right to work in the UK, • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, • A senior leadership role within a growing, values-led, B Corp certified care group, • A supportive value led team environment, • The opportunity to shape the future of a well-established home within the Serencroft group, • Blue Light Card Eligibility, • Competitive bonus scheme Serencroft Care Homes is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of background.
