The Project Manager delivers project objectives with respect to the six key areas of performance: Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Environment, Delivery and People. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong project background to join this fast-paced team to deliver the more complex highways and technology schemes throughout their whole project lifecycle. Schemes range in value from £100k to £3m+ and include safety schemes, environmental improvements, technology schemes, remedial works and junction improvement schemes. Responsibilities: • Stakeholder Management - Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Portfolio Manager, SPM, Construction/Supervisor Teams and key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure full mutual understanding of the projects’ delivery objectives, to report on and review project performance, and to agree solutions to issues., • Maintaining compliance with the DBFO contract clarifying roles and responsibilities within your team, resolving risks and issues in a timely manner, producing timely and accurate reports, and creating and maintaining specified records including change management., • Design, agree and implement project plans, to ensure that all activities are appropriately organised to deliver project objectives, are appropriately resourced to deliver the required outcomes., • Lead and oversee programmes throughout their whole lifecycle through feasibility, design, construction and handover. Informing investment proposals for our clients at each stage, • Contribute to the development of robust cost profiles identifying key risks and quantifying resource requirement., • Identify and evaluate emerging risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. Established 20 years ago, Phi Partners is a global technology services consultancy based out of London with an annualised turnover of £50m. We operate exclusively within capital markets, in the front office, pricing and risk space, covering both business and technology services. With six lines of business, four international hubs and five international delivery centres, Phi has become a leading global financial markets IT services provider within our niche domains. Our international sales team is run out of Wrotham Business Park in London where we have over 30 sales consultants covering the broad range of business lines, clients and geographies. This team includes junior sales personnel who focus primarily on candidate research and recruitment whilst they are being trained to become client‑facing sales consultants and eventually account managers. Management and provision of cost-effective design solutions to maintain or improve the M25 ITS/ Technology assets to the standards agreed and considering the needs of key stakeholders. Deliver the outcomes agreed with the National Highways to programme and budget, and to meet CPS quality standards. The role will be responsible for coordinating and managing design and construction activities across the two Dartford tunnels and QE2 Bridge. The role will provide technical input to challenge and propose solutions for upcoming projects including leading with method engineering reviews of design and framework subcontractors proposals. The working environment of the live operational tunnels and bridges provides multi-layered complexity for which innovative solutions are to be sought as we strive to improve safety by design. The role will support the CPS engineering team with design, design coordination, review Framework contractors’ proposals and manage external design consultants inline with the delivery priorities and programme. The role will require the individual to be able to both partake in design/method workshops for specific scopes alongside a regular (weekly) construction site presence to act as the interface between the site construction works and the design & engineering teams. Whilst onsite the individual will be responsible for checking activity Control Plans, specification compliance, QA records, Identify/raise NCRs and ensure Technical Queries TQs are raised, actioned and responded to with suitable solutions to support the project need. The role will include responsibility for: • Design coordinator across a range of secondary steelwork and M&E schemes., • Understanding of construction tolerances and awareness of Specification and other Contract documents., • Is able to identify potential hazards onsite or in the planned construction methodology and is proactive in implementing actions and controls., • To manage design delivery, and review documentation from internal and external consultants., • Preparing, raising or checking Temporary Works Briefs., • Reviewing and preparing methods of work for complex installations., • Workforce engagement to ensure design and engineering solutions are being efficiently and safely executed onsite., • Produces weekly programme and measures design progress against KPI’s and forecast suitable design resources to meet the programme of works., • Identifies items of additional work and raises the necessary notifications. The Project Manager delivers project objectives with respect to the six key areas of performance: Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Environment, Delivery and People. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong project background to join this fast-paced team to deliver the more complex highways and technology schemes throughout their whole project lifecycle. Schemes range in value from £100k to £3m+ and include safety schemes, environmental improvements, technology schemes, remedial works and junction improvement schemes. Responsibilities: • Stakeholder Management - Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Portfolio Manager, SPM, Construction/Supervisor Teams and key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure full mutual understanding of the projects’ delivery objectives, to report on and review project performance, and to agree solutions to issues., • Maintaining compliance with the DBFO contract clarifying roles and responsibilities within your team, resolving risks and issues in a timely manner, producing timely and accurate reports, and creating and maintaining specified records including change management., • Design, agree and implement project plans, to ensure that all activities are appropriately organised to deliver project objectives, are appropriately resourced to deliver the required outcomes., • Lead and oversee programmes throughout their whole lifecycle through feasibility, design, construction and handover. Informing investment proposals for our clients at each stage, • Contribute to the development of robust cost profiles identifying key risks and quantifying resource requirement., • Identify and evaluate emerging risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate.
