Role: Mechanical Inspector Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week We’re looking for a hands-on mechanical inspector to join our Knutsford team. What You’ll Be Doing As a mechanical inspector, you’ll play a key role in making sure every component and finished product meets top-quality standards. Your day-to-day will include: * Carrying out first-off inspections of CNC-machined parts, the role would suite an ex CNC machinist familiar with the processes. * Using precision measuring tools like micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and plug gauges * Checking CAD and machined components against drawings and specifications (imperial measurements) * Completing QC paperwork and helping resolve quality issues with Quality Assurance and Purchasing * Managing acceptance or return of defective parts via our ERP system * Using advanced measurement equipment like CMM or FARO arms (full training provided!) As a mechanical inspector, you’ll be right at the heart of quality, making sure everything leaving the workshop is top-notch.
