Working alongside a brigade of four chefs, you will prepare fresh, high-quality food from scratch for students and hospitality events, including fine-dining dinners and special occasions. The benefits • £16.00 per hour, • Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break, • Temporary-to-permanent opportunity, • Weekly pay through the agency, • Free meals on duty, • Holiday pay, • Support with the Enhanced DBS application, • Good public transport links, • Opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established contract catering operation Key responsibilities • Work across different sections of the kitchen, • Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard, • Support the wider kitchen brigade during busy service periods, • Assist with hospitality events and fine-dining dinners, • Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation, • Work efficiently as part of a small, professional team The school caters for students aged 8–18 and places a strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality food. The kitchen provides three lunch sittings, with service running from 10:55am to 1:45pm, creating a structured daytime working environment. Requirements • Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie, • Experience in volume catering, • Good knowledge of fresh food preparation and cooking, • Ability to work across different kitchen sections, • Positive, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills, • Enhanced DBS required; support with the application is available
