What you should bring to the role: • You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering., • A problem solver, able to identify potential issues and implement solutions, or escalate if required., • An excellent communicator, providing technical expertise to Internal and External staff and contractors., • Resilient, adapting to the pressures of work and working in a constantly changing environment., • Ability to work with minimum supervision, under own initiative, to design and meet standards., • Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety issues relevant to the industry., • Team player who can work in many different teams, showing respect for others, providing helpful feedback and supporting the development of others., • IT literate., • Full UK driving licence. You need to be very disciplined, have the desire to learn from those around you and have a can-do attitude. This role can be demanding at times, but very rewarding too., • Take Ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to understand the problem fully, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time., • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team., • Teamwork – We are one team, and our end goals are the same., • Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively., • Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures., • Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
