A Warehouse Operative is required to join a successful organisation located in Camberley, Surrey on an ongoing temporary basis. Working across core areas in the business, the successful candidate will process stock items in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and reliable individual with previous warehouse or distribution centre experience. Working 8:30am to 5pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am to 4pm Fridays. Key Responsibilities: Picking: • Pick all stock accurately, • Pick in an efficient manner, • Present goods to packer as per company standard to optimise efficiency Packing: • Check all stock during packing, • Pack all stock as per company process, • Pack in a safe and efficient manner Goods in/put away: • Unloading and checking of incoming deliveries, • Putting stock away in relevant storage area Replenishment: • Movement of stock to the relevant pick face according to company standards Loading: • Building and loading pallets from the packing station, • Safe loading onto onward vehicles according to company standards General: • Pro-actively ensuring a safe and tidy working environment in the Distribution Centre, • Safe and efficient operation of all Distribution Centre equipment, • Comply with company regulations, policies and procedures., • Ensure safe working practices, by following company and Health and Safety guidelines, • Report any accidents or near misses according to company standards Skills and experience: • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Previous picking/packing experience, • Organisation skills, • Strong communication skills and a team player, • Basic IT skills

Due to our continued success we require 5 temporary workers to start asap on an ongoing basis helping with the picking and packing of stock ready for despatch. Our roles are to start asap and may be extended or even become permanent should this be of interest to you or you could just help us out on a temporary basis whilst we are busy. We require Stores Assistants - Picking and Packing to assist with a range of tasks throughout the warehouse. We are a leading manufacturer of a range of products and our Frimley site houses our main warehouse facility. Our purpose built site houses our production, distribution, head office and retail operations and we can offer a modern and friendly working environment working with weekly pay, overtime if desired, free on site parking and paid holiday contribution. The role would suit candidates seeking temporary work who are happy working in a busy, physical hands on stores environment using our computerised scanning and stock system. We are happy to consider students or those candidates in between jobs, seeking to earn some money whilst looking for the right permanent role. Ideally you will have some previous stores, stock, despatch or logistics experience but we can provide full training. Your main duties will include:- Working in both our freezer (PPE will be provided) areas and standard warehouse. Working from our stock system via a tablet to accurately pick stock according to customer orders Picking stock from the freezer and standard warehouse Loading up trolleys and moving through the despatch process Preparing boxes and pallets ready for stock/orders Printing shipping labels Preparing stock for despatch Updating the stock management system Packing stock Adhoc warehouse duties to keep the site clean and tidy You should be physically fit, have your own safety boots and be happy on your feet for the majority of the day and be comfortable working in our freezer and regular warehouse sections.
