Graduate Academic Tutor - Primary School Temp to Perm | ASAP or September 2026 Start | £95-£110 per DayWakefield & Kirklees Primary Schools Are you a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a primary school? Do you have a passion for helping young learners grow in confidence and achieve their academic potential? We are seeking Graduate Academic Tutors to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in warm, inclusive primary schools throughout Wakefield and Kirklees. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or pastoral support. The Role As a Graduate Academic Tutor, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small-group support in literacy and numeracy, • Work closely with class teachers and SEN teams to track and encourage pupil progress, • Support children who may need additional help with confidence, focus, or engagement, • Degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred), • Genuine interest in primary education and child development, • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential, • Patient, proactive, and enthusiastic about supporting learning, • £95-£110 per day, paid weekly, • ASAP or September 2026 start dates, • Full-time, Monday-Friday during term time, • Excellent classroom-based experience APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION • All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy, • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained, • You must have legal right to work in the UK Disclaimer 'Nothing within the above advert was in any way designed or intended to discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, colour, religion, disability or sexual orientation.
