The role is to travel across the UK with the use of a company vehicle fully kitted out with all the tools needed for the Job. We install and erect steel portal fabrications with floor & roof installations up and down the UK. we are looking for individuals with drive and passion to assemble our products consistently and reliably as and when needed. A conscientious and measured approach to the role is advantageous and definitely a pride in work. power tools for steel and timber are used frequently so any experience in assembly / fabrication / installation / engineering / carpentry etc are beneficial. there are aspects of heavy lifting / travel / overnights Job specifics • Reviewing technical plans drafted by the Drawing Office • Planning project assembly and installation. • Cutting and manipulating steel & timber to suit each project • Operating hand and power tools • Installing and fixing together steel sections, beam sections to make a steel framework to suit each job. • Using elevated work platforms and scissor lifts • Installation of products ranges to bespoke specifications and sign off on completed works and tasks once completed. • Ensure Lining up and levelling steelwork before Fixing in place • Working on-site, Overnight and often at height. • Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry. • Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste & leaving a clean and tidy workplace • Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company. • Good team worker
