This role focuses on identifying new contacts within existing accounts, researching new companies and projects, and arranging meetings for our Area Sales Managers (ASM). Confidence, persistence, and strong communication skills are essential. You will play a key role in expanding Conquip's presence across relevant construction projects, helping ensure our solutions are considered early in project planning. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Appointment Setting • Identify and research new contacts within existing client organisations using tools such as LinkedIn and Lusha., • Contact prospective clients and arrange meetings for the Area Sales Managers (ASM)., • Engage with previously untapped contacts within key contractor organisations., • Track upcoming projects, planning applications, and construction developments., • Identify opportunities where Conquip products or solutions may be relevant., • Maintain accurate records by adding new contacts and company details to the CRM system., • Research new companies and potential customers within relevant sectors., • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, • Excellent telephone manner, with a polite, persistent, and tenacious approach, • Good planning and organisational ability, • Methodical and accurate approach to research and data entry, • Confident communicator with a proactive approach to outreach, • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and organisational discipline, • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a “can-do” mindset, • Ability to represent Conquip professionally across the construction industry Joining Conquip means becoming part of a growing and ambitious engineering business where your work directly contributes to developing new client relationships and supporting major construction projects.
