Our pupils may have various diagnoses, including: \n\n • ASD\n, • ADHD\n, • FASD\n, • Anxiety\n, • Communication and interaction needs\n, • Cognition and learning needs\n\n With small bespoke groupings of 4-6 children, we ensure that every pupil receives the individual attention they need to thrive. Our large private grounds create a therapeutic environment that focuses on the health and wellbeing of our pupils, offering outdoor learning experiences such as: \n\n • Forest school\n, • A multi-use sports pitch\n, • A sensory trail\n, • A conservation area\n, • Play equipment\n\n Inside, our completely refurbished building features a variety of classrooms and activity rooms, including science, computing, music, drama, and Art/DT. As part of the Polaris Community, we have been improving the lives of young people for over 30 years, with all our provisions rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. \n\nAbout the Role\n As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching all allocated areas of the curriculum. Your role will include: \n\n • Planning, preparing, and presenting engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your class\n, • Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations\n, • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education\n, • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback\n, • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement and learning\n, • Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment\n, • Upholding discipline in line with our Behaviour Policy\n\n\nRequirements\n\n, • Hold Qualified Teacher Status\n, • Successful Primary School Teaching experience\n, • A good knowledge of the National Curriculum\n, • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs\n\n\nBenefits\n\n, • Company Pension\n, • Life Assurance\n, • Access to our employee discount scheme, offering savings with over 740 retailers, including major supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants\n\n\n The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris.
