Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Littleborough £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Days-based role Permanent The Company Our client is a well-established manufacturing business based in Littleborough and is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on supporting production through planned maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement activity across a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping machinery running efficiently, reducing downtime and supporting engineering projects across the site. The Role The primary focus of the role is to support production by carrying out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and reactive mechanical repairs across manufacturing machinery, mechanical systems and associated site equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant reliability, reducing unplanned downtime and supporting machinery improvements and engineering projects. This role would suit a time-served, apprentice-trained Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical fitting, fault-finding, welding and fabrication skills, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
