    Senior Sous Chef – AngloThai - Marylebone £50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Location: 22-24 Seymour Place, W1H 7NL · Full-time, site-based AngloThai is a Michelin-starred, Thai-inspired restaurant on Seymour Place in London, the debut permanent home of husband-and-wife team John and Desiree Chantarasak. John's cooking reimagines Thai flavours through hyper-seasonal British produce, served across a 50-cover dining room and Baan, our 16-cover private dining room, with a wine programme led by Desiree. As the restaurant grows, we are looking for an exceptional, passionate Senior Sous Chef to join the team. As Senior Sous Chef, you will own the day-to-day running of the kitchen alongside the Head Chef, leading a talented team and protecting the standards the kitchen is known for. You will lead by example on the pass, making sure every dish leaves the kitchen exactly as John intends, and step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence. You will report to the Head Chef and support the full operation of the restaurant, the kitchen and Baan. This role will suit an experienced sous chef or senior sous chef from a premium or Michelin-starred kitchen, who leads from the front, cares deeply about produce, and wants to grow a team as well as their own craft. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality. Whelan Pubs (AKW) Position: Bar Staff / Bar Team Member Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Location: Various Venues Across London & the South ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our bar teams across A.K. Whelan Pubs. Our Bar Staff are at the heart of the customer experience. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service, maintaining high standards and helping create the welcoming, lively atmosphere our pubs are known for. Previous bar experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important. Stock Control • Handle all stock carefully and responsibly., • Follow correct measures and portion controls., • Minimise wastage and report breakages, spillages and wastage., • Assist with deliveries and stock rotation when required., • Maintain secure storage of stock., • Support management with stocktakes where required. Cleaning & Standards • Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar throughout the shift., • Keep bar tops, shelves, fridges, glasswash areas and customer-facing areas clean., • Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties as instructed., • Ensure glasses are cleaned, polished and stored correctly., • Maintain high standards in customer areas, toilets and external areas where required., • Report maintenance, health & safety or cleanliness issues immediately. Licensing, Safety & Compliance • Follow all premises licence conditions and company policies., • Apply Challenge 25 consistently., • Refuse service appropriately when required and inform management., • Follow company procedures regarding intoxicated customers., • Comply with health & safety, fire safety, food hygiene and allergen procedures., • Report accidents, incidents or security concerns immediately., • Work responsibly to protect customers, colleagues and the business.
