Our client is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to join their team and play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional client experiences within a historic 17th-century venue. Specialising in luxury weddings, corporate, private events, and film/TV productions, they are looking for a commercially minded, confident events professional to manage both new business development and their existing client base. The role involves converting enquiries, managing bookings, and ensuring a seamless, high-touch client journey from initial contact through to event delivery. This role requires excellent communication, strong organisation, discretion, and attention to detail, reflecting the prestige of a luxury heritage venue.\n\nSalary: £30,(Apply online only)+ per year + commission + company pension\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities for the Sales & Events Coordinator:\n\nManage incoming enquiries via phone, HubSpot CRM, email, and WhatsApp, ensuring prompt, professional responses \nDevelop a strong understanding of client requirements and guide them towards suitable venue and supplier options \nConvert enquiries into confirmed bookings using a consultative, sales-led approach \nRepresent the venue at open days, showcases, and sales events, actively converting interest into bookings \nConduct virtual and in-person show rounds with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail \nConduct pre-event meetings with clients and suppliers to finalise all event details and ensure seamless delivery \nProvide high-touch account management from booking through to event day via CRM and direct communication \nMaintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records at all times \nSupport diary management for Senior Wedding Specialists, ensuring accuracy and avoiding conflicts \nLiaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth planning \nMaintain expert knowledge of all venue offerings and spaces \nManage supplier administration including contracts, documentation, certificates, and payments \nWork towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs \nSupervise/support event delivery, ensuring venue standards, licensing, and health & safety compliance \nOversee venue preparation and ensure all event details are approved prior to event day \nSupervise external event staff including coordinators, caterers, decorators, etc. \nResolve client issues on the day calmly and efficiently to ensure flawless delivery \nSupport post-event processes including feedback, reporting, and administrative completion \nAnalyse sales and event performance and contribute improvement ideas \nSupport marketing activities including social media, content creation, blogs, email campaigns, and competitor research \nEnsure all online platforms and messaging remain accurate and on brand \nProvide general administrative and operational support to the wider team \nFull training provided on internal systems and CRM platforms\n\nKey Skills & Personal Attributes for the Sales & Events Coordinator: \n\nPassion for luxury customer service and creating exceptional client experiences \nWarm, polished, confident communicator who builds strong client relationships \nCommercial awareness, balancing service excellence with revenue goals \nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy across all tasks \nHighly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \nEmotionally intelligent, discreet, and able to handle sensitive situations with tact \nCalm under pressure with a professional and composed approach \nExcellent written communication with strong grammar and tone \nConfident verbal communicator with a refined, professional manner \nStrong time management and prioritisation skills \nProactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused \nCollaborative team player within a high-performing environment \nReliable, punctual, and accountable \nFlexible to work weekends, peak seasons, and event days \nConfident with Microsoft Office; HubSpot CRM or similar experience advantageous \nPassion for weddings, hospitality, and heritage venues\nThis is a full-time role offering a unique opportunity to be part of a high-end, luxury events team at a historic venue.
