We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous dishwasher to join our esteemed culinary team. In our fine dining establishment, the dishwasher plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sanitation Excellence: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods as appropriate.
  • Polishing & Presentation: Ensure all tableware and glassware are spotless and polished to reflect the elegance of our dining experience.
  • Kitchen Support: Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and equipment; promptly remove trash and recyclables.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor levels of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the Kitchen Manager to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during service, ensuring timely availability of clean items.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain dishwashing equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant setting preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards and ensuring all items meet our presentation criteria.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Food Handler’s Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with upscale kitchen operations and standards.
