About the Role Specialty Capital is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build the technology that powers our lending business. • This is a highly hands-on product role for someone who understands that in financial services, the platform itself can be a competitive advantage., • You will own major products and workflows across the financing lifecycle, from application and underwriting through offers, funding, servicing, renewals, and portfolio management., • You’ll work directly with engineering, underwriting, sales, operations, data, and company leadership to identify problems, design solutions, prioritize the roadmap, and ship products that have measurable business impact., • We’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution: understanding the business problem in the morning, mapping the workflow in the afternoon, and working with engineers to get it into production. Responsibilities - What You'll Own • End-to-End Product Development: Own discovery, requirements, prioritization, development, launch, measurement, and iteration for major parts of Specialty Capital's lending platform., • Lending & Underwriting Workflows: Improve how applications move through submission, data collection, underwriting, decisioning, offers, contracts, funding, servicing, and renewals., • Product Roadmap: Help define and prioritize the roadmap based on customer needs, operational bottlenecks, business impact, data, and ROI., • Business-to-Engineering Translation: Work directly with underwriters, sales teams, ISOs, operations, customers, and leadership to turn complex business requirements into clear product specifications that engineering teams can execute., • Data & Decisioning: Use data to identify funnel leakage, operational inefficiencies, conversion opportunities, and product performance. Define KPIs before launch and measure results afterward., • AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and third-party data to reduce manual work, improve decisioning, accelerate underwriting, and create better customer experiences., • Integrations: Lead product requirements for APIs and integrations with banks, payment providers, data vendors, credit bureaus, and other fintech infrastructure partners., • Prototyping & UX: Use tools such as Figma and modern AI prototyping platforms to rapidly test workflows and product concepts before committing engineering resources., • New Products: Help launch new financial products and capabilities as Specialty Capital expands beyond its core revenue-based financing platform., • International Expansion: Support the product and technology requirements for our expansion into Canada and future markets. Qualifications • What We're Looking For, • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, lending, payments, credit, or financial services., • Experience with MCA, revenue-based financing, SMB lending, or alternative lending is strongly preferred., • Strong understanding of lending workflows, including application intake, underwriting, credit decisioning, funding, servicing, and renewals., • Demonstrated experience taking products from problem identification through production launch and iteration., • Comfortable working closely with engineers and discussing APIs, integrations, data structures, system dependencies, and technical tradeoffs., • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make product decisions. SQL experience is a plus., • Experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and modern AI-assisted product-development tools., • Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into structured requirements and actionable product plans., • Comfortable operating in a founder-led, entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and individual ownership is high., • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
