Job Description As part of IPRO’s Technology Solutions team, the Lead Software Developer will have the opportunity to set up enterprise-wide strategic projects and processes with exposure to leaders across the company. In the Lead Software Developer role, you will be a key driver of innovation and develop new tools and approaches to create value for our customers. Given the breadth and depth of IPRO’s technology development, you will learn how to maximize the value for a wide variety of users by participating in all activities of the development life cycle including planning, requirements gathering, active development, testing, production and maintenance. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive culture that values employee development through both formal training and on-the-job opportunities. Duties to include but not limited to: • Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment., • Placement and layout of Web site pages given client provided content., • Working with stakeholder and administrators to create solutions and their respective roadmaps for delivery., • Providing technical documentation for the work accomplished., • Development of robust and user-friendly PHP-based web applications as well as native mobile applications., • Design and creation of relational database schemas. QUALIFICATIONS: • A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming and the demonstrated use of an MVC framework., • A solid understanding of Web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures., • Ability to configure and manage the LAMP stack., • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills., • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution., • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients' timelines and budgets., • Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment., • Bachelor's Degree in a related Science or Engineering discipline, • Six (6) years of technical and IT experience, required with a minimum of three (3) years developing Web sites or Web applications using an expert understanding of requirements gathering, self-management and delivery, required.
