About the Role Were looking for a Senior SQL Software Developer to lead the development of scalable, cloud-native applications and data pipelines. Youll play a key role in shaping our technical architecture, mentoring junior developers, and driving innovation across our analytics platform. This role will take ownership of critical processes currently running on Amazon Redshift. These processes are vital to the companys operations, and maintaining and enhancing them will be a central responsibility. This is a full-time hybrid position with the ability to work remotely 3 days a week, and in-office presence required 2 days per week in our downtown Nashville location. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications and data services on AWS, • Take ownership of existing Amazon Redshift-based processes and ensure their reliability, scalability, and performance, • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Redshift and Aurora RDS, • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to deliver high-impact solutions, • Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior team members., • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of all deployed solutions, • Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy Required Qualifications • 10+ years of professional software development experience., • Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudFormation)., • Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and Aurora RDS (MySQL or PostgreSQL)., • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Node.js)., • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines., • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in healthcare or healthcare analytics., • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)., • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK)., • Knowledge of data visualization tools or frameworks (e.g., Tableau, Dash, React).
