Our Challenge: We are seeking a proficient UI Angular Developer to join our dynamic development team in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will design and develop intuitive, scalable, and high-performance front-end solutions that enhance our banking applications’ user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with our business goals and regulatory compliance standards. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $110K-$120K/year & benefits (see below). Responsibilities: • UI Development & Design: Develop, implement, and maintain responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular (latest versions preferred) adhering to industry best practices and design standards., • Feature Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring seamless integration with backend services., • Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, including implementing lazy loading, code splitting, and other Angular performance techniques., • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices, conduct code reviews, and participate in team Agile processes., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions., • Security & Compliance: Ensure applications meet security standards and compliance requirements specific to the banking industry, including handling sensitive financial data securely., • Testing & Debugging: Develop unit tests, perform debugging, and perform troubleshooting to ensure a robust application., • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, Angular features, and banking domain requirements to suggest innovative enhancements. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field., • 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular framework., • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related front-end technologies., • Experience with Angular frameworks (Angular 12+), Angular CLI, RxJS, NgRx or other state management libraries., • Sound understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services., • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git., • Knowledge of web security best practices, especially within financial/banking applications., • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization., • Good understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices., • Agile/Scrum development experience., • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred, but not required: • Experience working within the banking or financial services industry., • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR)., • Experience with Angular material or other component libraries., • Familiarity with backend technologies (Java, .NET, etc.) and full-stack understanding., • Certification in Angular or related web technologies.
