Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Call Center Specialist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Edison Office, not remote. The Call Center Representative will be responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and providing excellent customer service to support the needs of patients and providers. Job Title: Call Center Representative Pay Rate: $18-20/hour Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, yearly bonus Job Title Duties (not limited to): • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously to assist patients and providers, • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently based on provider availability, • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in the system, • Provide information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and services offered, • Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy, • Route calls to appropriate departments or staff members as needed, • Document all call interactions and outcomes in the electronic medical record system, • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, • Participate in ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as assigned Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or call center experience preferred, • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record or scheduling systems, • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
