This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment and brings a keen desire to contribute immediately while learning critical skills that will lead to excellent pay and career advancement in a industry critical to America’s defense and aerospace capability 40+ hours per week Primary Responsibilities: • Work closely with experienced Set up Machinists and operate various CNC machining centers to produce precision components per engineering specifications and drawings., • On the job training to enhance skills for reading and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T specifications, and setup sheets., • Learn to perform in-process inspections and finished parts inspections., • Learn to select appropriate tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to optimize productivity and part quality., • Learn and execute routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal machine performance., • Maintain documentation and records for production runs, tool usage, and machine setup parameters., • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to improve machining processes and resolve technical challenges. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment, with demonstrated experience in operating., • Experience in the use of precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators., • Understanding of material properties (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel) and cutting tool technology., • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while consistently delivering high-quality results., • Ability to stand at a machining workstation for extended periods., • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed., • Must be physically able to navigate the warehouse and access inventory at various heights.
