Job Description Famous Contemporary Apparel Maker seeking a Product Development Assistant to join their NYC team. This is an ongoing freelance assignment where you will work with design, merchandising, and production teams to successfully prepare pieces for the brand’s annual and seasonal releases. Specifically, you will: • Attend team meetings and record all product development data within archives; update as needed according to calendar, • Own sampling process – invoicing, logistics, storage, cataloging, and content, • Oversee specs for tech packs and BOMs, let teams and production vendors know of changes, • Monitor production calendar daily and follow through on deadlines, • Handle invoicing and PD budgets and escalate any discrepancies What you’ll need: • At least 1-2+ years of experience in product development and data management within the fashion industry, • Familiarity with comprehensive PD process, including sample coordination and data entry, • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, • Exceptional attention to detail and organization, with an ability to meet deadlines, • Strong communication and collaboration skills, • High standard of work and adaptability Please submit your resume for consideration.
