    We have an opening for a full-time receiver position in our Stockroom. We are looking for an organized, speedy backroom employee to receive products for Goods for the Study & McNally Jackson Books. Responsibilities will include physically moving incoming boxes and cartons to the stockroom. Receiving all packages into the POS against an invoice or transfer manifest. Checking and communicating discrepancies to the management team. Collecting data regarding shipping costs and supply costs. Organization of the stockroom for efficiency of product storage and ease of picking and shipping. Packing, shipping and processing of returns to the publisher and vendors. Balances incoming credit memos. Picking, processing, packing and shipping web orders, bookfair inventory, Goods for the Study transfers and web orders. Correspondence with customers regarding any web order concerns. Follow up with tracking information and other troubleshooting problems and flagging any potential problems for managers. Communicating with vendors regarding pallet deliveries and coordinating oversea shipments. Moving product using hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed. Processing all incoming and outgoing transfers, including stationery, books, and magazines. Assisting the stockroom management team in delegating priorities and tasks for a team of seasonal/temporary and permanent workers. Assisting the truck team with loading and unloading transfers, bookfair, and other truck deliveries. Stickering and labeling all stationery products for the stores in a consistent and tidy manner. Performing all other general store responsibilities as necessary including answering phones, interfacing with customers, covering breaks for the sales floor team, generating staff picks, and general store maintenance.

This role focuses on the practical handling of parts and data entry into the ERP, always complying with quality standards and aviation regulations. This is a 100% on-site position at our facilities in Brooklyn, New York. We are looking for a meticulous person with strong attention to detail and practical experience in aviation inventory management. Key Responsibilities • Perform accurate and timely entry of items into the ERP (receipts, shipments, adjustments, and stock movements)., • Support and execute cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy and reduce discrepancies., • Handle, store, and preserve aviation parts following established protocols (environmental control, handling of sensitive components, and shelf-life management)., • Verify critical technical documentation during receiving and shipping (FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, 8130-3 Dual Release, Certificate of Conformance, etc.)., • Support daily warehouse operational tasks to ensure parts availability. Profile Requirements Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of practical experience in inventory and parts management in the aviation sector (MRO, parts distribution, or airlines). Experience with data entry in ERP is highly valued. Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.). Regulatory Knowledge: Basic to solid understanding of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA), component traceability, lot control, shelf-life management, and certification documentation.
