Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse ProfessionalJob Description As a Warehouse Professional, you will be responsible for driving power pallet or electric pallet equipment to designated picking areas and building pallets or loads according to load sheets or voice pick audio equipment. You will also be tasked with marking load tickets for out-of-stock items, wrapping pallets when completed, and ensuring all paperwork is checked before loading. You will stage pallets and load them into trucks when ready, complete partial pallets, and put away mixed pallets. Responsibilities • Drive power pallet or electric pallet equipment to picking areas and build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick audio equipment., • Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items., • Wrap pallets when pallets or loads are finished., • Turn in paperwork with orders for checking before loading and have trucks checked., • Stage pallets and/or load them into trucks when ready., • Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets., • Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers or trucks, ensuring proper stacking to minimize product damage., • Maintain the upkeep of assigned equipment, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order., • Check for signs of contamination, expiration dates, or other signs of unsafe storage., • Complete daily assigned tasks and paperwork given by the management team., • Demonstrate courtesy, respect, and politeness in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and guests., • Follow all organizational and safety policies and procedures., • Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.Essential Skills, • Experience working in a warehouse environment, such as order selecting, picking product storage, product staging, and using powered pallet equipment or forklifts., • Ability to drive a forklift, performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering booms, and maneuvering in tight areas without damaging the product., • Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets., • Experience working in a team environment, demonstrating cooperation with co-workers and joint problem-solving., • Strong communication skills and the ability to display professional conduct at all times.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Forklift certification., • Ability to multitask and think on your feet., • Perfect attendance record., • 2 years or more of relevant experience.Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
