Job Details Job Details: We are in search of a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Permanent Director of Nursing to join our dynamic healthcare team. This leadership role is integral to our mission of providing the highest standard of care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, and geriatrics, with a proven track record of effective leadership and education within the nursing field. This role requires the ability to strategize, implement, and oversee nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and the efficient utilization of resources., 2. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with the best practices and regulatory requirements., 3. Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, and compassion., 4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered approach to care., 5. Conduct regular audits and surveys to assess the quality of care and patient satisfaction. Develop and implement plans of correction as necessary., 6. Serve as the key liaison with patients, families, and the community, promoting an understanding of the facility’s services and capabilities., 7. Participate in budget preparation and financial management of the nursing department., 8. Stay current with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in nursing and long-term care., 9. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to nursing services and long-term care. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred., 2. Must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license., 3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting., 4. Extensive knowledge and experience in geriatric nursing and rehabilitation., 5. Experience conducting audits and surveys and developing plans of correction., 6. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff., 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels., 8. Demonstrated ability to strategize, develop, and implement effective nursing policies and procedures., 9. Ability to manage budgets and understand healthcare financials., 10.
