You will be responsible for managing and creating content for our website and social media including writing articles, creating posts, editing videos and responding to our followers. Having a passion for combat sports including Boxing and MMA is a must! Responsibilities: · Generate, edit and publish entertaining content across multiple social media channels to engage fans and increase followers · Write multiple articles a day for our website and social media centering around combat sports breaking news including Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing & more · Create and implement ways to increase brand presence on social media platforms · Conduct phone & zoom interviews with fighters, trainers, managers, etc. for video content and articles · Attend Press conferences, weigh-ins, live events, and other various media events to take videos of the event and conduct interviews with fighters · Maintain consistent awareness of trends and platform changes across all social media channels · Consistently engage with fan and fighter communities by responding to comments and fostering interaction across social media platforms · Be available off hours and weekends to write and post breaking news stories as well as results from live events Skills: · 3+ years of experience creating content for social media & websites · Proficient in the Adobe creative suite (Premiere, Photoshop & After Effects) · Expert in all social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat · A passion for & deep knowledge of combat sports – specifically Boxing and MMA · Track record of significant audience engagement & growth on social media platforms · Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field Compensation is commensurate with experience. If it happens in the ring, we’re behind it. CSI Sports is seeking a Post-Production Associate/Assistant Video Editor who can grow into a key member of the production team. This position in our Jersey City office will utilize their meticulous attention to detail and their expertise with Adobe Creative Suite as we develop new content for domestic and international channel distribution as well as for digital platforms. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of digital tools, a passion for combat sports (especially boxing), a creative eye, and work well in both an individual and team environment. The Post-Production Associate/Assistant Video Editor will: • Create timelines in Adobe Premiere featuring program footage, b-roll, graphics and interview clips, • Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines, • Create music cue sheets for all music used within programming, • Prep for edits and assist senior editors in creation of longform and shortform content including feature packages, documentary series, live shows, promos and sizzle reels, • Create and edit graphics for broadcast & thumbnails for digital using Adobe After Effects & Photoshop, • Edit & post Daily News segment on social media platforms, • Create tag pages for promos & assist in the creation of promos, • Create digital content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok, • Deliver final productions for broadcast and digital platforms to the required specifications, • QC shows before they air to ensure there are no technical/creative issues, • Log shows creating rich metadata to maximize its value on various media assets., • Create detailed and accurate Format sheets for shows, • Attend Live Events & media week events including public workouts, weigh-ins and press conferences to help conduct interviews and obtain footage, • Monitor live events to ensure flawless execution & edit live highlights for posting on social media Qualifications and Experience • At least 2 years post-college experience editing & creating graphics for a post-production house or network, • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop), • Knowledge of the sport of boxing & experience editing for boxing and/or MMA preferred, • Have experience editing content for broadcast & digital, • Know how to normalize audio, create a mix-minus & edit shows to proper broadcast and social media specifications, • Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok, • Excellent oral and written communication, • Works well in fast-paced and changing environment, • Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.), • Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously, • Able to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed to hit deadlines and work on live events, • Bachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study) or equivalent practical experience, • This is a full 5 day in-office position; remote work is not available Compensation: commensurate with experience Benefits: Eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off and sick leave.
