Job Description Summary: The Driver's primary purpose is to load, unload, and transport company equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Must be 21 years of age and licensed to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV). CDL Class A or B Driver. Essential Functions Driver must be able to: • Represent the company in an educated and professional manner, • Must have clean driving record and pass pre-employment physical and drug screen., • Assist with loading and unloading materials to and from delivery vehicles by hand, • Sort equipment for loading and upon unloading, • Read work orders to determine work assignments or material needs, • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily work tickets, • Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift equipment and guide loads, secure loads, • Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging, • Flexibility and dependability, • Effective communication skills. English preferred., • Read and write pick lists, • Strong organizational skills Work Environment / Travel This job is based at our warehouse location in West Babylon, NY but daily travel throughout the metropolitan New York area is required.
