Job DescriptionJob Title: Licensed Clinician - (LSW/LCSW/LPC) Location: Jersey City, New Jersey - 346 Claremont Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt (Monday to Friday). Access to administrative support and guidance., • Paid Time Off (PTO): PTO and paid holidays, • School & Schedule: 10-month position with schedule aligned with the elementary and middle school calendar, • CEU Reimbursement: Financial support for continuing education, • Health & Wellness Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, along with Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, • Retirement Plan: 401(k) with company contribution.Job Responsibilities:, • Help students and families gain insight into their difficulties and facilitate change by conducting individual, group and family psychotherapy, • Provide crisis assessment and psychotherapy intervention as needed to address emergent situations during the school day, • Complete biopsychosocial assessments as part of the intake/referral process, discharge summaries, transition planning and goal progress, • Maintain student's clinical file by recording entries of treatment sessions, completing treatment plans and progress reports, and providing information on goal progress in relevant documentation such as IEP's, I&RS plans, and 504 plans, • Prepare discharge summaries and mid-year and end-of-year clinical summaries, • Prepare clinical presentations for staff meetings regarding issues pertinent to presenting needs, • Support educational staff through clinical intervention and sharing of knowledgeQualifications:, • A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field, • Possess an active LSW in New Jersey, • Knowledge of developmental theory and interventions with individuals, groups and family therapy, • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling and educationPreferred/Nice to Have:, • Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally as an LPC or LCSW, • NJ School Social Work Certification, • Fluent in Spanish, • Demonstrated understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementationAt Thrive Alliance, we are committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a supportive, drug-free workplace.
